Tasks

Tasks for GBTEC Enterprise Architecture are handled through the same Tasks menu item as tasks in GBTEC Process Design. For general functions, see the chapter Tasks of GBTEC Process Design.

This chapter covers only questions about tasks in connection with GBTEC Enterprise Architecture.

How do I work on tasks for context diagrams in GBTEC Enterprise Architecture?

As a user entered in the Examiner or Responsible governance attribute, you can work on tasks for context diagrams. Open the Tasks menu item in the left menu bar. There you get a complete overview of all pending and completed tasks. Tasks for context diagrams appear in this overview just like any other task.

Move your mouse over the desired task to work on it directly in the list. Two buttons appear on the right.

Use the Accept / reject button to approve or reject the task directly. This works as described in the chapter How do I work with my tasks? of GBTEC Process Design.

Use the Open audit trail button to open the task’s audit trail. For more information, see the chapter How can I view my tasks? of GBTEC Process Design.

Alternatively, select the task for the desired context diagram. Depending on whether the context diagram was created in the catalog or modeled, you are taken to the matching catalog or diagram view.
