Hardware Requirements User Workstations

GBTEC Process Design and GBTEC Work Orchestrator are browser-based tools and there is no need for a separate client installation. Nevertheless, there are hardware requirements for the computer which runs the web browser.

[*]Since the application content is freely defined by the authors, the size of the content can vary in a huge range. For example, using high-resolution images in diagrams heavily increases the amount of data that must be transferred to display such diagrams. Limited data rates result in longer loading times for application and content, which can result in users experiencing impaired application performance.

On user workstations with fewer hardware resources performance of GBTEC Platform will degrade. Performance may be sufficient for limited use cases like read-only viewing.

Software Requirements Single Sign-On

Single Sign-On is supported based on the SAML 2.0 protocol, which is supported by almost all current IAM providers. Integration of a private GBTEC Process Design & Work Orchestrator environment with Active Directory and Single Sign-On requires Active Directory Federation Services 2.0 or higher with SAML 2.0 activated. Integration will require additional services for implementation, configuration, and coordination with customer’s IT department, offered for an annual fee.
