Statement of Accessibility
In line with our commitment to accessibility, we had our product “GBTEC Process Design” reviewed by an external body in accordance with the requirements of the EN 301 549 standard and WCAG 2.1. The initial review was carried out on the basis of software version 7.10.0, using the new product user interface. The independent audit report dated August 23rd, 2023 showed that we meet accessibility requirements in many areas, but also that, at that time, the product was not yet equally accessible to all user groups. Since then, the product has been continuously developed further. This statement refers to the current state of software version 9.0.
We are committed to continuously improving the accessibility of our product software in order to offer all users an equivalent user experience. We are working to remove identified barriers and to ensure that our products are accessible and usable for everyone. We welcome feedback and information about barriers.
Current Status of Compliance
The accessibility requirements arise from Sections 3, paragraphs 1 to 4, and 4 of the BITV 2.0, which was issued on the basis of Section 12d of the BGG.
The review of compliance with these requirements was originally based on an external audit conducted between July 27th, 2023 and August 23rd, 2023 in accordance with the BITV test and the WCAG test, carried out by a testing body of the BITV testing network (software version 7.10.0). Since this initial review, the software has been continuously developed further and is now available in version 9.0. During this period, various customers also reported additional barriers as part of their own self-tests and third-party tests; following internal review, these have been included in the overview below.
The product is not yet fully accessible in all areas. We are actively working to resolve the barriers listed below through technical revisions. In particular, the following areas have been identified (as of July 31st, 2026, software version 9.0):
The consistent use of language attributes is not yet implemented correctly throughout.
Interactive graphics are not fully operable with a keyboard and screen reader, as certain content areas cannot be filtered or operated.
When adjusting text sizes and spacing, text overlaps occur.
People who rely on a screen reader or on keyboard-only (mouse-free) navigation cannot fully access the process in the process execution view, because the start event is missing.
Several editing functions in the graphical modeling environment (including inline editing of element labels, the display of connection lines, and additional options for selected elements) have insufficient contrast ratios.
Some settings in the administration area are not consistently optimized for keyboard operation. In addition, contrast ratios there are not always sufficient, so operating elements are sometimes difficult to recognize or difficult to reach.

Arbitration Procedure
If, even after your feedback to the above-mentioned contact, no satisfactory solution has been found, you can contact the arbitration body under Section 16 of the BGG. The task of the BGG arbitration body is to support out-of-court dispute resolution in conflicts relating to accessibility between people with disabilities and federal public bodies. The arbitration procedure is free of charge. No legal representation needs to be engaged.
